Here's everything that's new about the iPhone 7 and iPhone 7 Plus.

  • Redesigned 4.7-inch Retina HD display with wide color gamut
  • New 7-megapixel FaceTime HD front-facing camera with auto image stabilization
  • 12-megapixel rear camera with 6-element lens, optical stabilization, f1.8 aperture, quad-LED True Tone flash, and a new high-speed sensor that's 60 percent faster and 30 percent more power efficient
  • Redesigned Home button (now not a physical button) which features Force Touch feedback
  • Water- and dust-proofing to IP67 standard (100% protected against solid objects like dust and sand, and it has been tested to work for at least 30 minutes while under 15cm to 1m of water)
  • Stereo speakers
  • Quad-core A10 Fusion processor
  • LTE Advanced up to 450 Mbps
  • Improved battery life (Apple says it is the longest ever for an iPhone)
  • No headphone jack

The iPhone 7 Plus has the additional features:

  • Two 12-megapixel wide-angle and telephoto cameras with 2x optical zoom
  • 5.5-inch Retina HD display with wide color gamut
  • Both devices will be offered with 32GB, 128GB, and 256GB storage options and the iPhone 7 will start at $649, with the iPhone 7 Plus starting at $769.
  • Pre-orders will begin September 9, and devices will begin shipping September 16.
