Salesforce along with its third-party software partners has launched more than 19 new apps designed to make its Wave Analytics tools more applicable to industries.

The company launched new Salesforce Wave Apps for B2B marketing and financial services as part of a rollout of more than 19 apps.

In addition, Salesforce outlined Wave Dashboard Designer and Wave Dataset Designer to allow customers to personalize apps for functions and departments as well as target groups of employees.

Wave is Salesforce's attempt to bring more analytics to enterprise and serve as a front end to the company's Analytics Cloud. The mandate is to create a consumer-grade app experience with enterprise analytics under the hood and embedded into processes.

For the B2B marketing app, marketers can tie together lead volume, CRM data, pipelines, and campaign returns, as well as tools like Google Analytics.

Wave for financial services is designed to allow advisors to filter clients and better cater to them.

Other apps are designed for specific industries. Ketan Karkhanis, senior vice president of product management Analytics Cloud, said the industry specific apps have been used by companies like Athena Health, which provides industry cloud services for healthcare.

Third-party apps for Wave include:

  • Everis ehCOS Wave Analytics for patient management and engagement.
  • ThinkLP Loss Prevention Analytics to manage retailer risk of theft.
  • Vlocity Clickstream Analysis to allow telecoms to better manage help calls.
