Richard M. Stallman (RMS) the founder of the Free Software Foundation, has labeled prominent Open Source software developer Miguel De Icaza a "Traitor" for  joining the Board of Directors of Microsoft's CodePlex Foundation as well as for his creation of the Microsoft .
