Damian Radcliffe

Damian Radcliffe is the Carolyn S Chambers Professor in Journalism at the University of Oregon. He is a digital analyst, journalist, and researcher with 20 years of experience in editorial, research, and policy positions in the UK, USA, and the Middle East. He writes regularly for major media outlets such as ZDNET, Huffington Post, and the BBC, covering digital trends at a global and MENA level in social media, as well as technology and innovations in journalism.

His unique CV features roles across all media sectors and all media platforms including stints at the BBC, the UK Communications Regulator Ofcom, and Qatar's Ministry of Information and Communications Technology (ictQATAR). Damian is an honorary research fellow at the Cardiff School of Journalism, Media and Cultural Studies; and a fellow of the Royal Society of Arts.
