There's a tug-of-war over the tablet market today. Apple's iPad still leads the pack, but total tablet units fell in 2015 and 2016 as tech users gravitate more toward smartphones and 2-in-1 devices. What remains to be seen is whether a standalone tablet is a device looking for a market.
