James McCartney

For the past two years, James McCartney has led Telstra's Cloud and Data Centre Sales teams for the international business. He has held technical sales roles and delivered solutions in a number of industries including traditional telecoms,… data centres, managed services and public cloud companies, since 2004. James has worked on projects in EMEA the US and now Asia being based in Singapore. During his time in the industry, James has seen all sorts of fads and trends, but sees himself at the forefront of the latest transformation in Public Cloud services. His goal is to ensure that his customers get the best advice to meet and exceed their business outcomes, and all the time doing it with a smile and a sense of humour. James believes the challenges being faced "are enormous and the constant change affecting our industry is incredible". But feels this doesn't need to be done in isolation and that it is a joint effort from all involved to ensure projects and solutions delivered are successful.
