As Black Friday shopping has become part of the Thanksgiving holiday tradition, leaks of Black Friday ads days and even weeks earlier have become part of that tradition as well. Dell is the first major computer retailer to have its 2012 Black Friday ad leak (or to "leak" its ad), with the usual aggressively priced "doorbuster" specials.

These doorbusters include the Inspiron 660s desktop with Intel Celeron processor, 2GB of RAM, 500GB hard drive, and Windows 8 for a mere $249.99 (no monitor included), as well as the Inspiron 14z laptop with Intel Core i3 CPU and 4GB of RAM (though running Windows 7) for just $299.99. For another $100, you can get the 660s with Core i3 processor, 6GB of RAM, and a 1TB hard drive -- definitely worth the extra money.

Additional doorbusters include the Inspiron One 20 all-in-one desktop for $399.99, which comes with an Intel Pentium processor, 4GB of RAM, 500GB hard drive, Windows 8, and 20-inch display. There's also the $379.99 Inspiron 15 notebook with similar specs to the Inspiron 14z, but running Windows 8 and with a slightly larger display. Speaking of displays, Dell is offering a 20-inch LED-backlight desktop monitor as a final doorbuster for $78.99.

There are a few other Black Friday deals that Dell is advertising on laptops, desktops, and monitors, along with some consumer electronics (HDTVs, digital cameras) sales on Thanksgiving day itself. Check out the complete ad at BlackFriday.com, and let us know in the Talkback section below if you'll be buying any of these deals on Black Friday.

  • Great way ...

... to offload pre-Windows8 hardware, reducing inventory that will be increasingly difficult to sell once people begin expecting their laptops and desktops to support touch.

  • Great Deals on Black Friday

Very interesting topic. I'm excited to buy this just for 299.99 only. This is the best laptop for students and some business man or woman. And the best thing is you save a lot of money. This could also be a gift for Christmas. right?.

No matter as win7 is also a not so bad version so we can opt for it.
