123 mln broadband subscribers in June 2004, 78 mln of them have DSL
Research by the DSL Forum indicates that in the year leading up to June 2004, global DSL subscribers reached 78 mln at a rate that was double that of other technologies, including cable. Overall broadband subscribers grew globally to 123 mln in the same period, a growth rate of 55%.
