381.3 mln mobile subscribers in Western Europe

Connections to mobile services in Western european region rose 2% in Q2 2005, to 381.3 mln. Germany recorded the highest growth, adding 1.7 mln connections. France continued to lag behind in terms of penetration, according to Gartner.
