46.77% of BitTorrent traffic is video

CacheLogic survey of peer-to-peer networks reveals video files dominating BitTorrent traffic with 46.77% share. 11.05% of all BitTorrent transfers are audio and 42.18% is other category, which includes software, game demos and software updates. CacheLogic says BitTorrent is primarily used by advanced users, hence the high level of uncommon file extensions.
