85% of small businesses see growth in the next 6 months

81% of 399 small businesses polled last month said they planned to increase their technology spending an average 20% in the next two to three years, and 68% said they would do so over the coming year, according to the HP survey. According to American Express small business survey, 85% of the 627 small businesses saw growth opportunities in the next six months, up from 72% in a similar poll in 2004. 66% planned to make capital investments within the next six months, up from 59% in 2004.
