In this latest episode of the Dan & David Show we mash up Google, Sun, Microsoft, Red Hat among others. Microsoft CTO Ray Ozzie thinks Google is rallying point for his company and is going to company around services (stay tuned next week); Google pops a new database application out of its innovation hotbed, where engineers take on new projects every three months; Sun CTO Greg Papadopoulos reveals a little big more about the Sun/Google alliance, takes shots at Microsoft, HP, IBM and Dell and says Sun can win in the utility computing sweepstakes; and Red Hat CEO Matthew Szulik sizes up Sun as a partner and competitor and evangelizes about thought leadership and how an open source/GPL-like model should extend out to digital rights management.

David also has an update on the Commonwealth of Massachusetts versus Microsoft dust up over Open Document Format and a rant about cryptic messages sent from firewall software.
