Acer launches Net fund

Acer Group has started a $260 million investment fund that will focus on Asian and U.S. Internet startups. The company's Acer Technology Ventures said it has taken a 15 percent stake in Pinnz Pte Ltd., a regional leader in Internet Protocol communications. -- Reuters
