Asia Pacific mobile operator capex increased 11% in 2004

Asia Pacific incumbent, competitive, and mobile service provider capital expenditures increased 11% to $52.4 bln between 2003 and 2004, and are expected to climb another 3% to $54.2 bln in 2005, according to Infonetics Research. Revenue was also up 11% between 2003 and 2004, topping $257.2 bln, and is expected to increase 6% in 2005 to $273.2 bln.
