AT&T, Apple to Verizon: 'Can your phone and your network do that?'

A new iPhone ad covertly slams Verizon by asking, "Can your phone and your network do that?" Something tells me the AT&T ad isn't targeting Sprint and T-Mobile, if you know what I mean.

The battle between AT&T and Verizon just won't cease.

Shortly after AT&T debuted Luke Wilson noting that Verizon's only winning attribute against it was the letter "V" comes a pair of iPhone commercials that end with the phrase, "Can your phone and your network do that?"

I don't think they're talking about Sprint and T-Mobile, if you catch my drift.

The ads, after the jump:

The first spot highlights the capability of the iPhone to view attached documents, make restaurant reservations and browse the Web without dropping a call.

The second clip highlights the same capability, this time with movie times and map locations:
