Aussie auction site sold to Yahoo!

Yahoo! Australia and New Zealand has confirmed the takeover of auction portal, SOLD.com.au, ending widespread industry speculation. The sale will give the site a global platform through Yahoo!, serving up a fight to the market leader eBay.
