Better than YouTube? Google Testing on the Toilet!

Better Than YouTube? Google Testing in the Toilet!
Written by Donna Bogatin, Contributor

What's better than than the latest Google snack-sized clip culture YouTube hit? The latest Google "episode" of Testing on the Toilet, in the eyes of some "passionate" software testers!

The "Google Testing Grouplet" is a self-descibed "small band of volunteers who are passionate about software testing," at Google.

In January, the grouplet "unveiled the public release of 'Testing on the Toilet,'" one of Google's "little secrets":

We write flyers about everything from dependency injection to code coverage, and then regularly plaster the bathrooms all over Google with each episode, almost 500 stalls worldwide. We've received a lot of feedback about it. Some favorable ("This is great because I'm always forgetting to bring my copy of Linux Nerd 2000 to the bathroom!") and some not ("I'm trying to use the bathroom, can you folks please just LEAVE ME ALONE?").

What's more, they want to share their "Testing in the Toilet" passion with the world.

The latest "episode," for your own "Testing in the Toilet" pleasure is below, "Refactoring Tests in the Red." What does Google recommend you do with it? Be creative!:

Put it up in your own bathroom, hallway, kitchen, moon base, secret underground fortress, billionaire founders' Priuses, wherever.
