AIM Share
AOL added more social features to AIM 6.0 today, with the ability to 'broadcast' a website URL or message to everybody on a user's buddies list. Simply add the provided 'bookmarklet' to your browser, and then anytime you come across a website you'd like to share, it takes one click to invoke the AIM Share page and send the URL (along with an optional message) to all of your AIM buddies.
The new feature is part of AIM 6.0's Buddy Alert system, which as I've previously noted, is helping to make AIM a social networking hub from which to stay connected to friends and family.
