Brel provides cheap e-business solution

Singapore, 9 December 1999 - Singapore based e-business company Brel Software delivers its latest end-to-end e-commerce solution, Brel EC, at a low rate of S$100 a month.

"We are offering an e-commerce solution that is faster, better and more affordable than what is currently available," says Mr Lam Wei Ying, Managing Director of Brel Software. They will charge a one-time S$2000 setup fee and subsequently, charge monthly fees of S$100.

Brel EC enables mechants to issue airway bills and schedule shipment collection, effectively replacing the manual process which uses telephone to communicate with DHL. Furthermore, merchants will be able to secure significantly discounted shipping rates from DHL through Brel. It is linked directly to Citibank's payment gateway servers through Brel to enable the payment settlement process.

The official launch will be on Monday, 20 December 1999.
