About ISO standards
The ISO family of standards represents an international consensus on good management practices with the aim of ensuring that organizations can consistently deliver products or services that meet clients' crucial quality requirements. The standards give organizations guidelines on effective quality management systems and provide models against which the systems can be audited. Such measures provide organizations and their clients with assurance that operations procedures are being effectively conducted.
