UK National Lottery operator, Camelot has signed over £45m to research the possible uses of 3G services and interactive TV. New Camelot chairman, Michael Grade has said betting via mobile phones is the future for theLottery, according to reports in the Independent on Sunday. The lottery operator is desperate to find new ways of making money after seeing its sales fall by 5 per cent last year. However Grade doesn't see 3G services making money until after Camelot has rebid for its licence.
