CEOs call for better privacy policies

A group of leading high-tech CEOs are calling on their industry peers to ensure that their companies have "robust, visible and comprehensive" privacy policies. Advocacy group NetCoalition.com sent the letter, which was signed by executives including Amazon.com Inc.'s (amzn) Jeff Bezos, America Online Inc.'s (aol) Steve Case and eBay Inc.'s (ebay) Meg Whitman. -- Margaret Kane, ZDNet News
