Cisco adds SolveDirect, bolsters services
Cisco is also a SolveDirect customer. SolveDirect will be lumped into Cisco Services.

Cisco said Monday that it will acquire SolveDirect, a Vienna-based company that offers cloud integration software. Cisco's plan is to tuck it into its services unit.
In a blog post, Cisco noted that SolveDirect's software allows secure data sharing between various enterprise and cloud systems. These data exchanges often require manual work. SolveDirect automates workflow and data swapping.

Cisco is also a SolveDirect customer. SolveDirect will be lumped into Cisco Services.
Terms of the acquisition weren't disclosed, but should close in Cisco's fiscal fourth quarter.
SolveDirect's flagship product is called ServiceGrid. The company has partnerships with BMC Software and others.
