Computing was all 1s and 0s -- now it's all SOA

Information technology used to boil the world down to ones and zeros. Now, is everything boiling down to service orientation (at least to some degree)?

Oliver Widder (Geek & Poke) saw my recent post on SOA market size and wonders if SOA doesn't encompass most of the entire IT market, versus a relatively small segment.
