Counterpane Internet Security Inc. announced Monday that it has signed agreements with 12 security companies to trade information on security incidents and procedures so that the companies can more closely integrate their products. Partners in its new Counterpane Security Associates program include Cisco Systems, Hewlett-Packard Co., Symantec, Network Flight Recorder, Network ICE, Tripwire Security Systems and six others. -- Robert Lemos, ZDNet News.
