Disney World in 3D on Google Earth

Check out Disney World in Google Earth -- it's in full 3D glory, including trees, benches lamp posts, buildings, etc. It's also easy to get more information about landmarks in the form of audio clips, videos and write ups. Check out Google's official announcement here.

Included are complete 3D models and information of the Magic Kingdom, EPCOT, Disney's Hollywood Studios, Disney's Animal Kingdom, and Disney's Resorts. And, as you would expect from Disney, the 3D models are very beautiful -- Google Earth Blog

This layer in Google Earth was supposed to be released last week, but now it's finally here. With the introduction of the Google Earth browser plugin and API, virtual tours through a browser might soon become a viable way to give users more immersive tours.
