Do you have that solar bag in pink?

Confession time: I have two big weaknesses, books and accessories. Sadly, neither of these vices is particularly conducive to green living. In 2008, one big goal as a consumer is to find me a solar-powered briefcase that actually has some fashion-sense and that can actually charge at least some of my gadgets, if not my notebook computer, on the run.

If you or someone on your list is interested in a fairly reasonable option, you might want to poke around in the catalog for Eclipse Solar Gear.

The $150 messenger bag shown in the photo above is actually sold out, but if you're willing to cough up another $120, you can buy it in a canvas and leather version. The bag can trickle charge a cell phone, PDA or MP3 player via a 12-volt car adapter. Sadly, it cannot handle juicing up your laptop.

So, I'm still "in seach of." Any recommendations?
