Drupal Module Mania!

I have some work lined up creating a Drupal CMS site, so I thought I'd better brush up by purchasing some how to do everything in Drupal videos. These are made by the Drupal developers and educators Lullabot, and they are pretty darned useful.

The key points are often simple but which would take you so much longer to find out by yourself. Ahh, the indicator of good education.

One of the most useful and exciting bits of advice is how you can add more stuff to your web site, in this case using Drupal Modules. Before now, @danbuntu has very kindly given me a pointer as to useful Drupal modules.

And now Lullabot have added to this list. Along the way, I found a 'community powered rating and review service' for Drupal modules, called, er, DrupalModules.com. It is most excellent, the search facility acting in an Ajax-goodness real-time sort of way. Much recommended (and thank you John from Blamcast for putting it together).

For those people who have an interest in those Drupaly sort of things, here's the Lullabot list that I cobbled together:

Administration menu, Admin role, CCK, imagefield, filefield, devel, flag, simplenews, global redirect, mollom, pathauto, webform, fivestar

(Do be aware I haven't installed many of these yet myself, so I can't vouch for their usefulness/stability/street-cred etc.)
