Ethernet switch sales up 15% in Q1 2005

Ethernet switch revenue rose 15% on Q1 2005, to $1.5 bln. 67% came from Gigabit Ethernet switches and 7% from the premium on Power over Ethernet devices. Cisco Systems took 80% of the total, Gartner says.
