First, a game of green. Then, fade to black

It is truly astonishing that I mention the word Apple in a post and I get more talkbacks than pretty much anything I write about. Puh-leeze, get a grip. Anyway, just back from reluctantly leaving my old PowerBook G4 with the kindly (actually, can someone half my age be kindly?) Genius at the Apple store. But now my brain hurts from trying to keep up with all my email on my iPhone for the past 24 hours. Not recommended, people. And, I have set off on a fact-finding mission to find out just how un-environmental my Apple technology really is.

But since my brain hurts right now from my flight home from Chicago, I'm not making any informed or uninformed comments about that right now. So after updating my Scrabulous games, it's a perfect time to talk about a fun Web site link I received from a company called Education by Design. The site is called GreenMyBrain.com, and it includes 75 questions that test your knowledge of pretty much anything green or environmental-related. The initial queries are from the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency and from Energy Star people. But you can actually add to the questions with your own green trivia, provided they meet the site's green focus. And aside from being kinda slow, there are some really thought-provoking scientific questions that make your brain hurt.
