Not everyone is jumping ship from Yahoo.

Yahoo announced on September 9 that it has hired Joanne Bradford as senior vice president, U.S. Revenue and Market Development. According to the Yahoo press release: "In this newly created role, Bradford will oversee Sales, Market Development for Advertisers, Small Business, and Yahoo! HotJobs, and will report to Hilary Schneider, executive vice president of Yahoo U.S."

Former Corporate Vice President and Chief Media Officer for MSN Bradford quit Microsoft in March 2008 after seven years with the company. She then joined Web ad-agency Spot Runner, where she briefly held the post of executive vice president of National Advertising Services before joining Yahoo.

Speaking of former Softies who are resurfacing, Will Poole, a Microsoft Windows veteran — and most recently, Corporate Vice President in charge of the company’s Unlimited Potential group — has come out of his short-lived retirement. Poole is now co-chair and member of the board of NComputing, a desktop virtualization provider.  NComputing announced Poole's appointment on September 9.
