PurchasePro and Gateway Inc. on Monday announced a strategic alliance that provides for PurchasePro to develop B2B marketplaces for the computer maker. Although the deal earned some support from analysts, PurchasePro's stock price edged downward Monday 0.38 to 87.5. Gateway has licensed three digital marketplaces from PurchasePro, for which it will pay licensing, hosting and maintenance fees.
