...hello information super highway...

Aging rock legend Elton John is bidding to be the biggest hit on the internet since Madonna's Brixton concert jammed phone lines worldwide. Web broadcaster MediaWave has signed a deal with MSN.co.uk to stream the singer's live concert from the Roman amphitheater in Ephesus, Turkey later this month. In contrast to the Material Girl's earlier efforts however, the Rocket Man will be charging users £7 or £10 for his performance, depending on whether they choose a 100k or 300k stream to watch. The charges mean less users will get to see the concert but MediaWave is promising this will mean broadcast quality that is "second to none", and a connection that is still standing at the end of the night. Fans will be able to tune in on 17 July.
