H-P CEO: Quake won't change Taiwan strategy

TAIPEI -- Hewlett-Packard (NYSE:HWP) said on Saturday it planned no change in strategy for Taiwan following a powerful earthquake on the island which it has said would dent its fourth quarter earnings. "While it (supply chain) is disappointing in the current quarter, we do not intend to change our (Taiwan market) strategy," Hewlett-Packard chief executive officer Carly Fiorina told a news conference.
