The Garmin Nuvi 3760T has a lot going for it. Not only is it an excellent navigation device that will get you to where you want to go with the minimal of fuss, the capacitive touchscreen makes this device much easier to use in the car that devices with pressure-sensitive screen.

The 4.3" screen on this device really needs to be seen to be believed  it's truly wonderful both for daytime and nighttime use.

Budget In-car: Garmin Nuvi 255 3.5"

If you're looking for a budget in-car GPS then look no further than the Garmin Nuvi 255. This is a fast, responsive, accurate navigation buddy that will guide you to where you're going. It doesn't have all the features present in the higher models, but it's great for occasional use.

Handheld: GARMIN GPSMAP 60CSx 2.6"

It's sometimes easy to forget that GPS can also be used outside of the car too. However, most in-car GPS receivers aren't well suited to handheld use.

For the weekend warrior who wants a rugged outdooor GPS revceiver but doesn't want to break the band the Garmin etrex H is the ideal tool. The eTrex is the workhorse of the Garmin range, and while the eTrex H is about as basic as things get, this is a great entry-level model that's ideal for backpackers and geocachers.
