How will you be upgrading to Windows 7?

In a poll I placed in a post yesterday 33% of the 2,048 respondents said that they would be upgrading to Windows 7 "As soon as it is released!" Today I'm curious to know how the switch will be made.

I have to admit to being surprised by the results. I didn't expect that so many people to be ready to jump to a new OS as quickly as that, especially since we've only seen one official beta from Redmond. Maybe the surveys are right and people are keen for a new OS. It's possible that between the large number of people still on XP, and latent dissatisfaction among current Vista users, perhaps there is a critical mass of users waiting for the new OS to appear. Perhaps XP is showing its age a lot more than some of the users that are still using it are willing to admit.

Maybe I should run the same poll the day after Windows 7 has been released to see how many people have actually upgraded!
