Hewlett-Packard has debuted the HP Swing over in India. Touted as the first motion sensor controller for a PC, the Swing will allow users to use body movements à la Nintendo Wii to play action sports on their computers.

Some of the lifelike action sports that the HP Swing can be used for includes tennis, pool and bowling. Yet, the reason that this might be the first motion controller for a desktop is that it might not be easy or enjoyable to play games like that at a desk versus with a gaming console hooked up to a large TV display. But maybe this device has a shot.

Either way, we won't find out soon as the HP Swing is set to be bundled exclusively with HP Pavilion desktop PCs in the Indian market. There's no word of a US release yet.
