One for the out of touch with reality book:

Viewpoint turns to adware. In an act of desperation the CEO of viewpoint revealed that they are planning on collecting click stream data from their desktop photo management product and search toolbar. They claim 120 million downloads. If they could convert that to an ad-serving tool they could generate over $200 million in annual revenue by my calculations. A little better than the $6 million/quarter they just reported.

If I ran a publicly traded company I would read this before going down the adware path:

What a great time to launch a new concept in photo management. Guy Kawasaki does it again!
