Instant messaging attacks up 400% in Q2 2005

The number of instant messaging attacks increased by 400% in Q2 2005 compared to Q1 2005, Akonix Security Center says. In June 2005 Akonik tracked 52 new threats targeting instant messaging and peer-to-peer apps.
