Back on August 10, Into Mobile blogger Will cited research from a Finnish technology firm that after as little as three months of use, the iPhone touch screen technology could start to lose some of its sensitivity to touch-inputs.

In other words, you tap the screen to navigate the Web, make a phone call, etc., and nothing happens. You try a second time- maybe a bit more resolutely- maybe with a bit more angled tenderness-and still, nada.

Finally on a third time, you are successful.

The iPhone debuted on June 29. So I am figuring some of you readers are just now into your third month of iPhone use. Sure, it is a little early, but when I consider that it would make sense the earliest purchasers have been, by nature of their eagerness, the most active in terms of trying out all the features they could- I am wondering whether at least a few of them could be starting to experiencing a few iPhone touch-screen misfires.

That's of course, if the Finnish findings are correct, and the iPhone touch-screen starts to become unresponsive three or four months in.

Is your iPhone's touch-screen starting to experience performance issues?
