Japanese investigate suicide online

A Japanese Web site offering suicide consultations is under investigation following reports Sunday that seven people ordered cyanide advertised on the site.

The 27-year-old Japanese pharmacist who ran the site killed himself mid December. Police are investigating two other suicides by women in their twenties that may be connected.

The UK's Voluntary Euthanasia Society condemned the use of the Internet in providing information and advice about methods of suicide.
