Live from the Apple store: West 14th NYC

Over 2,000 people queued in the snow to see the opening of the West 14th Street (NYC) Apple store–the 13th store in the state. Stars including Whoopee Goldberg and Mary J. Blige turned up for the event in the three story glass store. The third floor is dedicated to service with One-To-One and Pro labs making the store unique.

Ron Johnson head of Apple retail was the most senior Apple chap in attendance. Goodies included free posters with prize stickers inside ranging from iTunes gift certificates to free MacBook Pros were given to people along with the usual and very cool West 14th Street edition T-Shirts.
