Hannover, Germany -- Apple Computer Inc. (aapl) may have opted out of this year's installment of CeBIT, but the company's influence on PC design continues to reverberate throughout the 26 halls of the world's biggest computer expo. iMac enthusiasts can take comfort in a welter of garish hardware created in its image by a small army of Asian manufacturers. Universal Serial Bus (USB) hubs, speakers and keyboards in strawberry, lime and other iMac-inspired fruit flavors populate the booths of exhibitors from Taiwan, Korea and other Asian countries.
