At Macworld in San Francisco, Apple chief executive Steve Jobs announced Time Capsule, a combination of an AirPort Extreme base station and server-grade hard drive. The device will be available in two versions: 500GB at $299 (£152) and 1TB at $499. The new product is scheduled to ship in February.
