Legal and security risks...

Microsoft has banned the use of peer-to-peer (P2P) software on its corporate network citing security concerns. The company bosses sent email round to the company's 50,000 employers and warned the staff that using P2P software on the corporate network poses a serious legal, public policy and security concerns. P2P software is used for swapping files of music and videos. The most well known P2P software Napster gained notoriety for music copyright violation.
