More updates on WMF and back to other news

Personally I'm getting weary of all the WMF exploit news.  But here's a few more tidbits before I move back to one of my favorite topics, rogue anti-spyware.

Microsoft's hotfix has been leaked. SunbeltBLOG has some screenshots here.  The leak was first announced at Steve Gibson's site, grc.com. The MS patch is said to "work great".

The site of  Ilfak Guilfanovm the developer of the unofficial patch, is back online here.  He also lists download sites and MD5 checksum's of the files here.

If you're running Windows, are you waiting for the Microsoft patch?  Fellow ZDNet blogger George Ou says no way and I'm with him.

Just how many variants are there of these infected WMF files and which AV's detect them?  Larry Seltzer has some new numbers from today.

Back to other news tomorrow.
