Can you guess the official Guinness World Record "Download Day" final download total?

I caught this image at around the time that Mozilla's "Download Day" event came to an end:

Download Day total

So, let's just round that number to 8.3 million to give us a starting point. Over the next few weeks Guinness officials will be scrutinizing the data and and weeding out invalid entries (um, yeah, sounds like an interesting job ...) so the final total will be lower than this ...

My guess - 7,722,549 (I'm guessing that there will be a fair number of early downloads that won't count because people were getting the wrong version ...)

So, it's now your turn to guess. Click the TalkBack button and add your guess (if you make your guess the title of your TalkBack entry that'll help make things easier...).

Rules: There are no rules! Oh, wait, there are ... In the unlikely event of a tie, the earliest entry wins. Votes cast after Mozilla announce the result will not count. Oh, and no editing your entries (I'll be watching ... always watching...)!!!

Prize: the satisfaction of knowing I was wrong and you were right (hpw often does that happen! ;-) - Oh, and I'll make sure you get your own personal copy of Firefox 3.0.

Get guessing!
