MS posts free multimedia browsing tool
Microsoft has uploaded a new beta of its Media Manager utility for cataloguing and browsing audio and video files.
Upon installation, Media Manager integrates with Windows Explorer and all functions can be accessed from the Explorer toolbar. These include the ability to create thumbnail views of motion video files or play back excerpts of sound files. Files can also be annotated and can be searched by text, creation date or other criteria.
