Net beats agents for holiday travel bookings

More Internet users booked their Thanksgiving flights online this year than through travel agencies or the airlines, a study by PC Data Online disclosed Friday. Of the 2,079 home-based Internet users who were surveyed that were flying during the Thanksgiving holiday, 38 percent made their reservation online.

Of the 2,079 home-based Internet users who were surveyed that were flying during the Thanksgiving holiday, 38 percent made their reservation online.
