New York - Several vendors yesterday took the wraps off new products here at the Mac OS Expo.

Reflecting the business bent of the show, Technologies Plus Inc. of Easton, Pa. (service@tplus.com), introduced Access Accounts, a cross-platform accounting package. The software is the U.S. version of an accounting package developed by Access Accounting Ltd. of Colchester, England.

Starting at $2,500 for a single user, the software costs about $25,000 for large client-server installations, the company said. The software runs on Mac, Windows, OS/2 and Unix platforms.

Dartmouth College of Hanover, N.H.(www.dartmouth.edu/netsoftware), gave attendees a peek at InterMapper 2.0, the latest version of its $795 network-administration tool. Slated to ship in July, the new version maps hubs and routers, expands notification options, and lets managers configure sites remotely.

Cyrusoft International Inc. of Pittsburgh (www.cyrusoft.com) showed an update to its $39.95 Mulberry e-mail client, which supports the Internet Message Access Protocol. Version 1.2 can handle larger messages and adds a new Parts/Attachment list.

Sora Corp. of Portland, Ore., unveiled MamboFM, its new player software for audio CDs and Internet RealAudio broadcasts. In addition, the company showed MamboFM Radio, a small radio that connects to the Mac through an ADB port. The device will cost $59.95 and come bundled with the player software. MamboFM will let users quickly switch between different audio sources - CD, Internet and radio - with preset buttons.

Each product is expected to ship in the third quarter.
